Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

I think it might've just been a thing where they got more exposure in America than elsewhere, because I am one of the youngest guys on this forum and I remember Grimace. From my early childhood, granted, but the ads with Grimace and the Hamburgler and stuff weren't aimed at teens or adults.Stahlseele wrote:Ah, so probably before my time . . because you guys are OLD!

I totally remember Grimace and the Hamburglar and Fry Kids and the rest, and I think I'm like second or third youngest here, if I recall the numbers in the "Who are you?" thread correctly.

Just a question. I got the feeling it had a Victorianesque setting, but then how did she know the sex of her baby before birth? I thought that was a modern thing since ultrasounds?

Repeating myself a little with "Conjure Rum." Only on the Unpublishable (because no-one else would want it). http://www.the-unpublishable.com/2013/0 ... e-rum.html
You need to write rules for Conjure Rum now.
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.
